1. What was life like before coming to Christ? What about before going to Bible College? (The more specific, the better!)

Life before coming to Christ was difficult for me. I had a lot of questions about God, about who He was and why I believed in Him. I was lost and filled with anger because of the life I grew up in. I had a hard heart and it needed healing. I felt alive when I gave my life to Christ and I started healing in all the wounds I had in my life. Bible College helped me understand who God was and why we served Him. I had many questions and nowhere to go for the answers before Bible College.

2. When did you realize God was calling you to be in Bible College? (Was there a moment in church, at home, while you were reading the Word?) Please describe this moment in detail.

I knew God was calling me to go to Bible College because I had a desire to learn more about Him. My friend was in Bible College and I would always go to him with my questions and came to find out he was in Bible College I knew I had to enroll because I was so eager to know more about God.

3. What moment in Bible College was the most impactful and life-changing? (How has TRBC propelled you into the future you’re living right now?)

The most impactful moment of Bible College for me was when I had to switch from being a traditional student to an online student. It was not by choice but because I had to. This allowed me to have more intimate time God and grow with Him. It was a time to be able to be taught by God through my online learning and it was absolutely amazing!

4. What part of your story would be most encouraging for the person reading your story who feels stuck, lost and hopeless?

I would say that I felt stuck, lost and hopeless through my journey of not only my regular university studies but some through Bible College but I continued on. I let God be my light and I just followed Him. Times only got worse me as the years progressed but in my heart, I knew I was going to breakthrough. I knew it I believed it and I knew God was with me and it kept me going. I persevered through the pain, struggle, helplessness and I was the alone majority of my journey but the One that remained was God Himself. It was an accomplishment to celebrate and be proud that breakthrough happened in my life spirit and soul when I graduated Bible College and it was just evidence of God's faithfulness through my journey.

5. What would you say to someone who wants to go, but isn't sure if it's for them because of their circumstances, challenges, past history? (And they have the same circumstances, challenges, past that you did prior to going to Bible College.)

I would encourage anyone who wants to attend Bible College to go for it. If God is calling you and you feel it in your heart that there is even a slight desire to attend go for it! If there are logistics in your life to figure out a way to fit Bible College into your life, allow God to show you what needs to change, what you have to do, and then do it. You will not regret it and follow through. It will be one of the best decisions you make.
