Founding Pastor of The Rock Church and World Outreach Center
The Rock Bible College students, faculty, and alumni are grateful for the vision and passion of Pastor Jim Cobrae in launching The Rock School of Ministry, which eventually grew into The Rock Bible College. Pastor Jim’s vision has allowed hundreds of students to study the character and attributes of God, uncover the mysteries of the Word of God and discover the call of God in their lives. Bringing an affordable and sound Biblical education to passionate believers here in the Inland Empire has been an effective means of training full-time ministers.
Pastor Jim served as President of TRBC from its founding until his passing on March 17, 2024. For many years, he taught a course on the Office of the Pastor, as well as developed and taught the cornerstone course Cardiology, which reminded us all that God is after our hearts and it is the condition of our heart that is of utmost importance in a follower of Jesus. It is with grateful hearts that we remember his love, teaching, and leadership and honor his indelible legacy.
