Pastor Mike Bryan

Pastor Mike Bryan was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He worked as an illustrator and graphic artist for UC Berkeley, and then an electro-mechanical designer for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He began working in the children’s ministry of his home church after accepting the Lord in 1977.

He married his wife, Sue, in 1984, and immediately went into full-time ministry as the Youth Pastor and Outreach Director of East Bay Faith Center in San Leandro, California. He also became active in short-term missions work as well. In 1989, he moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Rhema Bible College while working on staff for Willie George Ministries and Church On The Move in Tulsa. Pastors Mike & Sue traveled as Children’s Evangelists in the U.S. and abroad until their move to The Rock Church and World Outreach Center in 1994. They have been pastors on staff for over 30 years. They served as the Children’s Pastors of The Rock for the first 28 years.

Besides teaching three classes at TRBC, Mike now oversees a ministry for members over 60 years old called “S.A.L.T.” (Senior Adults Living Triumphantly), and oversees the Pastoral Care Department which includes weddings, funerals, baptisms, hospital visits, Lifeline, and Spiritual Guidance appointments.

Pastors Mike and Sue have three adult children and five grandchildren.
